As a bonus and a thank you, I am offering this swallowtail butterfly as a daily painting parting. I did this as a combination egg tempera/oil from a dead butterfly I found in Southern California. It was folded up, and I learned how to gently open the wings so I could see the whole creature. It took a while to reposition it. This is not a daily, more like a week long process.
