Happy Spring!

The earth wants to share its bounty and its many gifts, life wants nothing more than to live.  Babies come to us when the time is right, tuned into the land and the sky. Babies bring a splash of vitality.  Babies make me happy, and that is worth gold.   I like looking at their  big eyes and rounded shapes.

Giraffes are awkward looking children, their joints  look bulbous and rubbery.  How could something so odd be put together like this?  Their little horns are bent to the side for a little while after birth, still soft and sweet.  It’s hard to imagine the boys will one day they will use them to help display their power and strength. They fight fair and are usually refereed  by an older guy, making sure the boys don’t get out of hand.  Apparently  a lot of male giraffes are homosexual, too, and many end up mating after fighting, sort of Brokeback Mountain style.  But I digress.
